We decided to start our day by exploring Kita-Senju. Kita-Senju is the first major transportation hub from Nishiarai.
Kita-Senju is one stop away from Nishiarai on the Express Train on the Tobu Skytree line. To commute to the “inner cities” of Tokyo, you have to make a transfer at Kita-Senju to either the JR Joban line or the Tokyo Metro Network.
While we were commuting between Nishiarai and Kita-Senju, we noticed that there was a park just north of the station, before the train crosses the Arakawa River. We saw people playing baseball at one of the open areas and we wanted to take a look at the park.
We walked past rows of residential housing and across a small highway before finding ourselves overlooking a wide open area. The park itself was just an open patch on the bank of Arakawa River with several areas marked out for baseball. There was also a small playground where we saw kindergarten kids running around under the watchful eyes of their teachers.
