Heyday Apartment

Heyday Apartment is located on the eastern side of the Ping River in Chiang Mai. The apartment is actually located quite far away from major tourist spots in Chiang Mai and it cost us 200 THB to get to the apartment from the airport via the limousine service. We soon found out that getting around Chiang Mai on foot from the apartment proved to be a problem. But if you were to drive or to rent a motorcycle, the apartment really provides a nice peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the old city.

Heyday Apartment is a quaint 3-storey building with various apartments that provide lodging to travellers on both a short term as well as long term basis. We booked room 304 from Airbnb (SGD $23 per night) for 1 night. We didn’t managed to meet the owner Mr Supapong during our short stay. However, we were greeted by his wife who checked us in and gave us basic directions to some of the amenities about the apartment.
