Charter Cafe is an aviation-themed cafe that is located at the carpark in-between the International and Domestic terminal.
Cafe Latte – The latte was decent. It didn’t come with any condensed milk unlike the typical Thai Latte that you get off the streets. It wasn’t overly acidic which is something that I like.
Thai Tea Latte – Despite its name, the Thai Tea Latte wasn’t overly sweet (by Thailand’s standard) and it actually tasted very milky. It is a very good alternative for those who are looking for a cup of Thai Milk Tea without the risk of getting diabetes.
Fried Rice – The fried rice tasted normal and it reminded me of the fried rice that I had during my Laos backpacking trip.
Pork Omelette with Rice – This was the first of many disappointments that I have in this trip when it came to Thai-styled Omelette. The pork omelette was very dry and it wasn’t the fluffy and crispy omelette that I have come to love so much back home in Singapore.
We spent a total of 400 THB for our entire meal at Charter Cafe. It is not a place that I would recommend coming all the way out for the food, but if you do happen to be at the airport and if you are tired of having your typical fast food like McDonald’s or Burger King, you can get a decent enough meal without burning too big a hole in your pocket.
