We headed to Nara Park after lunch. One of the more famous attractions of Nara Park would be the deers. Vendors selling biscuits for you to feed the deer are scattered throughout the park.

As expected, the moment we stepped into Nara Park, we found ourselves once again in a tourist hotspot. We purchased a pack of biscuits from one of the vendors and fed the deers. The deers were not as aggressive, unlike what we have looked up from travel blogs online. While the sight of you holding biscuits excites them, the moment when they realise that they are not going to get any food from you, they will wander off and look for another person who are willing to feed them.

One of the more interesting thing that we observed was how the deers will bow its head each time you feed it. Very much like how the locals would express their gratitude, I guess the Japanese’s culture has rubbed off on them as well.
