The bus from Mount Shosha dropped us off at the side entrance to Miyuki Dori, a shopping arcade North of Himeji Station. As we still had some time to spare before our next train, we went to search for a place to have lunch. We stopped by Enyaichidai after looking at their set-lunches.
Enyaichidai is a Izakaya Restaurant. Stepping into the restaurant, there was a certain charm to the whole place, with the chef cooking at the counter infront of the customers.
We ordered a Sashimi Donburi served with a side portion of udon and a Hotplate Pork Set.
Both sets tasted great thought I don’t really understand why udon is served with the Donburi because to me it just seems like there is a lot of carbs.
