We walked into Chibo without knowing that it was a local Okonomiyaki Chain. Honestly when I went into Chibo, I did not have much expectations of the food as I wasn’t a huge fan of okonomiyaki (I would probably blame my dad for that). We got seats at the counter where the chefs would prepare the okonomiyaki in front of us and serve it on the the stove itself, much like having teppanyaki.

We ordered an okonomiyaki, an omelette and a set of onigiri to share. I had initially wanted to order a Yakisoba instead but got the order wrong.

The omelette was honestly one of the best that I have eaten. The flavour was awesome and the omelette had a light texture.

The okonomiyaki was served next. There were a few types of sauces that we had by the table, one that was spicy and there was Japanese mayo.

The okonomiyaki certainly tasted way better then the ones that I had back in Singapore. The portion was huge and they were very generous with the ingredients that went into it.

A great place to visit if you want to find a place to get okonomiyaki around the area. English menu is available upon request which certainly makes it a lot easier for ordering.
