We headed to Platinum and we decided to stop by Starbucks as most of the shops were not yet open.

There is a food court located at the 6th floor of the mall. The stalls only accept payment via the stored-value card which can be purchased from main counter. You can refund the remaining value in the card after your meal.

The hot plate fried oysters was a huge disappointment. The entire dish was tasteless. Dipping it in the fish sauce helped save it.

The mango sticky rice was served with a few types of sticky rice. The sticky rice portion was huge and the mango was sweet (I preferred the one I bought from Siam Seafood Restaurant the day before).

The spring roll had mushroom and lettuce wrapped in a rice flour skin. They were served along side a thai sweet and spicy sauce which was super delicious and went very well with the spring roll.

The pork rice had a very strong herbal taste. It wasn’t as tender as I would have wanted it to be and the eggs were overcooked.

We also ordered two types of creeps to share. Chocolate with banana and custard with raisins.

Overall, I felt that the food at the food court was lacking in the usual standard that one will come to associate with Bangkok food. While the food court is a very comfortable and convenient place to stop for your meals while shopping at Platinum Mall, I feel that you will be able to find much better food anywhere else around the vicinity of the mall.
