Food Stalls

Phetchaburi Soi 19, Bangkok, Thailand

We left our hotel at 7am to search for breakfast. We went towards the area at the back of Phetchaburi Soi 19 as I remembered that there were some stalls selling food in the morning.

We decided have our breakfast here. The staff at the stall were able to communicate in both English and Chinese. The picture menu had English words but there was no price indicated.

We ordered two bowls of Chicken Noodle and one bowl of Tom Yum Chicken Noodle. The only difference between the normal chicken noodles and the tom yum variant is only in the soup base. Both type came with rice noodles which were very chewy instead of the typical egg noodles. The chicken noodle soup base was sweet and the tom yum soup wasn’t too spicy which was great for the empty stomach.

The meal however was very expensive. We paid ฿123 for three bowls of noodles.
